The idea of Europacker was born in 2023. Working on a hotel bar, long hours & miserable customers, I needed to escape life for a while. I wanted to experience something other than my hometown, something bigger, something new.
I knew I didn't want to be there, I had bigger dreams, aspirations I wanted to unlock. But how do you get the key if you don't know what you're looking for?
Drunken guests would ask me what my life plans were, I had nothing to say other than to get out of the rat race. Then one conversation would go on to change the trajectory of my life. A regular guest told me to travel. On my own. Go and see the world. Learn what I wanted to do.
It sounded amazing, but where to start, where to go? So many questions I had no answers to. It was daunting, but I knew it was something I had to do. I thought to myself if only there was a guide, someone I could take assurance from that I wouldn't be wasting my time and money.
I had to figure it out on my own, and alongside meeting amazing people, waking up in fascinating cities & breath-taking landscapes, it helped me uncover my passion.
I needed to make this amazing part of life more accessible to people. Make people believe this is something they can do. Whether it be through entire trips planned to take the stress off, or just little pointers along the way, we're dedicated to creating memories of a lifetime for everyone.
Today, Europacker is a small, founder-led operation building bespoke trips across Europe — for people whose calendars don't have room for spreadsheets, or who simply don't know where to start. Alongside that, we're launching Europacker Matchday, our mystery football weekend package: flights, transfers, match tickets, accommodation and a local activity, all wrapped into one.
Whether it's a one-off bespoke itinerary or a Matchday package, every trip is costed transparently and built around suppliers and venues we've personally researched, visited or vetted — not pulled off a generic reseller shelf.
